About Daughter of Zion Ministries, Inc.

Arise and shine daughters of God, for your time has come. God's heartbeat for this hour is to minister to His daughters and through His daughters. He first revealed His heart concerning each of you when He spoke these words: "I have not forgotten my daughters. I have not forgotten they were the last at the cross and first at the tomb. I have not forgotten their tears of intercession – they have come up before me like unto hot air balloons. I am going to provide a place where they can be refreshed, refilled and rejuvenated."

Just as life cannot come forth until a seed is planted, this ministry was not birthed until a seed was planted in rich fertile soil. In February of 2001, the Lord spoke to my heart to plant a very large seed in the soil of a world-wide "healing" and "watch" ministry. It had always been a secret desire of my heart to give one million dollars to the work of the Lord, but at that point in time it seemed impossible. I was more than amazed when the Lord said to write out a "pledge" in the amount of one million dollars.

One year later the Lord spoke a Word to my spirit that left no doubt that I had made a vow to Him and I needed to fulfill it. He said: "Here is my advice about what is best for you in this matter: Last year you were the first not only to give but also to have the desire to do so. Now finish the work, so that your eager willingness to do it may be matched by your completion of it, according to your means." 2 Corinthians 8:10-11

I did have the desire to give, but I certainly had no means to accomplish this or to pay my pledge. Yet God was telling me to pay my pledge according to my means. My prayer was, "Lord, I have no means! I have nothing to give. You said in your Word that you provide seed for the sower, therefore I obeyed your voice when you told me to sow. You have always provided when you have asked me to give by faith. Lord, what is my means?" And the Lord said, "You have a book!"

"A book Lord! You want me to pay my pledge with a book." I knew in my heart this was exactly what He was asking me to do. It was the only means I had. But the book He was referring to wasn't just any book. It was a book I had written two years before and had been birthed out of a very painful and difficult time in which I took care of my older brother Charlie. It was about his battle with throat cancer and how God healed him on three different occasions as the cancer kept coming back.

Charlie didn't die of cancer, but the Lord took him home. The report said he died of "natural causes!" The book is his story and the story of every person who has battled cancer in their bodies or has battled a different kind of cancer. The Lord says that sin is a cancer. The book is about the cure for cancer! And God was asking me to give it into the hands of someone I didn't even know.

By the time I drove the ten hours to get to their ministry, I knew without a doubt God was in control. He made a way for me where their seemed to be no way as I was graciously received, along with my gift. I placed the book I had labored over for many months and even years, into the hands of strangers, and I said, "This book is worth a lot more than a million dollars to me," and then I walked away. I knew I had paid my million dollar pledge and that God was pleased.

Shortly before I gave the book into their hands the Lord said: "Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, multiplying thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times." Mark 4:8

As He impressed the word "one hundred times" into my spirit, I knew the seed I had planted would grow and produce a bountiful harvest! Before leaving the next day, I attended one of the scheduled meetings, and under a heavy anointing I gave birth to something in the spirit. One of the women praying with me said, "You have just given birth to a new ministry."

It would be months before I fully understood, but on the day I paid my million dollar pledge, Daughter of Zion Ministries was birthed by the Spirit of God. Yet another long season of praying and waiting on the timing and purpose of God to be revealed passed, before the ministry's purpose began to unfold.

On 8-21-02, the Word of the Lord came to begin Daughter of Zion Ministries. The Father's heart concerning His daughters was further revealed that day when He said: "I do desire a place where a river of healing and encouragement can flow, but did I not say that out of your belly shall rivers flow. Those rivers are being troubled and that my daughter is the discontentment you have been experiencing. It is time to step into the waters and without fail I shall command the seas to be at peace."

In those early days, the Lord instructed me to begin ministering in my home, and as I stepped out in faith He sent those who were hurting, and wounded, and needing deliverance. Many of those early meetings were accompanied by angels who manifested their presence among us. And the Lord began to reveal the Glory of His presence to us as He healed, delivered and set free those who were bound. We not only minister in our church, but we minister wherever the Lord sends us.

The same year I paid my pledge the Lord began speaking to me about writing a book to His people. I had always had it in my heart to write a book that would bless the Jewish people, and now the Lord was saying it was time. I asked Him why me, and He simply said, "You reap what you sow!" The purpose of this ministry is to minister healing and deliverance to the daughters of God, while encouraging them in their destiny and the call of God for their lives. It is God's desire that we all come into full maturity, fulfilling our destiny in Him for this hour. God has a plan and a purpose for each of His daughters, plans to prosper you and plans to give you hope and a future.

The passion of this ministry is for every daughter of God to fulfill the very purpose for which they were created. Many are not walking in the fullness of their potential in Christ Jesus. Nothing is impossible for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.

The foundation of this ministry is built on God's Word, and the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. It continues to stand through prayer, worship and watching for our soon coming King! Arise daughters of God, for your light has come, and who knows that perhaps you have come to the Kingdom for such a time as this.
